Job Title: Economist

To support the manufacturing sector in research economic issues, conduct surveys and collect data, analyze data using analytical models, statistical techniques, present research results in reports, tables, and charts, interpret and forecast market trends, advise businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics, recommend solutions to economic problems, write articles for academic journals and other media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and plan research agendas and report concepts, ensuring at least one detailed report is produced within a year.
  • Engage with ministries, universities, think tanks, and other agencies in research assignments, resulting in at least one co-authored report/publication with government/academia.
  • Identify research agendas/initiatives and work with stakeholders to determine topics of research.
  • Prepare discussion points/talking points for various meetings and discussion forums, providing relevant content and points for effective delivery.
  • Make relevant presentations in various forums, delivering crisp presentations during committee/council/government meetings.
  • Interpret issues/concerns raised by stakeholders, understanding the issues and recommending solutions.

Requirements:

Post Graduate in Economics from a leading university in India or abroad.
