Expert Data Analyst

Job Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced data analyst to join our team. This role involves leading the scientific and methodological aspects of all observational database analytics and evidence synthesis with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consultation on internal RWE databases studies/analyses including objectives, study design, data source identification, protocol development, statistical analysis, and interpretation.
  • Design and execute RWE studies/analyses by leveraging SAS based on claim database, EMR database, registry data, and public used files.
  • Develop high-quality, readily interpretable deliverables (e.g., data tables, graphs, charts, study reports).
  • Oversee junior programmers to ensure quality control on analyses conducted.
  • Effectively manage and track all studies/analyses to meet timelines and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Communicate research findings internally and externally as appropriate (e.g., congresses, publications).
  • Stay up-to-date with latest methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • Contribute to the continuing education of relevant line functions on RWE methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research, health policy, or similar field.
  • At least 2 years' hands-on experience in observational data studies.
  • Professional programming skills with SAS. SQL and R programming experience are advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and study management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical results to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, diverse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
