Track Alignment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a critical role involving track alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Horizontal and Vertical Track Centre Line Alignment: Utilize expertise to design and implement track centre line alignment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare Points and Crossings: Develop points and crossings based on concept of operation, working closely with the project team to ensure seamless integration.
  • Standard Working Procedures: Create and implement standard working procedures to ensure work execution as per System Of Delivery (SOD), promoting efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze and Resolve Component Issues: Analyze each as-built component, identifying tolerance issues and suggesting suitable solutions to avoid infringement during mass construction, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate day-to-day activities involved in rail track design and infrastructure development projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Elevated Section Design Methodologies: Leverage extensive knowledge of various design methodologies in elevated sections to develop innovative solutions.
  • Rail Design Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in rail design software, including Swept Path Analysis, Regression Analysis, and Drain, to analyze and optimize track designs.
  • Design Calculation and Review: Prepare and review design calculations for Cant, Cant Deficiency, Cant Excess, Speed, Rate of change of Cant, and Transition, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Quality Checks and Assurance: Conduct quality checks and assurance for deliverables, participate in review meetings, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Site Visits and Interface Management: Conduct site visits to ensure construction activity and site condition, collaborating with the interface team to address any concerns or issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with 5 years in relevant experience in track alignment of metro projects.
