Ruby on Rails Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails engineer to join our distributed engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications while improving legacy codebases for better reliability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Debug and enhance legacy systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong debugging skills and experience working with legacy systems
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and relational database design
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes
  • Proven ability to write high-quality unit and integration tests

Technical Requirements:
