We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Developer Lead to join our team.

Job Description

As a seasoned software engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex web applications using Ruby on Rails.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of new features and enhancements to existing applications
  • Collaborating with designers and product managers to define project requirements
  • Mentoring junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on web development
  • 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Solid experience with web services and APIs
  • Understanding of RESTful web services and API design principles
  • Experience with MongoDB, Postgresql, and MySQL databases
  • Proficiency in Git and GitHub
