Job Title: Service Innovation Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our innovation team as a Service Innovation Lead. This role involves working cross-functionally with business, technology, and product teams to create and test new service propositions.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and experience working in the financial sector. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders, have outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, and be proactive in their approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uncover market trends and competitive landscapes for new proposition development
  • Own research methodology and facilitation with users and stakeholders for a deep understanding of the opportunity space
  • Demonstrated expertise with systems thinking and creating optimized ecosystems that balance user, business, and technology priorities
  • Challenge existing assumptions with behavioral insight and design expertise to ensure a new proposition that integrates with and augments users' day-to-day and mental models
  • Conduct concept and proposition validation with users and translate actionable insights into the next iteration
  • Provide vision and direction to the team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Work alongside product teams to plan and prioritize features for rollout based on business objectives
  • Collaborate with technical teams to push innovation while balancing feasibility

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience as a Service Designer or equivalent for 6+ years
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and hold complexity
  • Experience working in the financial sector, understanding business nuances
  • Comfortable interfacing with and getting buy-in from senior stakeholders
  • Creative thinker who is fearless in challenging the status quo but still holds sharp analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proactive doer with excellent organizational and time management skills
