Digital Operations Lead for Airbus India IT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT systems in Airbus India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Technical Data Authoring and Production applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to investigate, follow-up, and deploy fixes for incidents
  • Report to local technical team leaders and product owners, providing regular updates on operational activities
  • Support operational activities to secure Technical data production in time and incident management at the expected level (SLA: 99.5%, Mean Time To Resolve incident < 4.3 days)
  • Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures, and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations
  • Reschedule jobs in Control-M, manage data change requests, and execute tools to maintain systems up-to-date and running on performance and quality
  • Monitor and proactively report on daily basis incidents raising on the application landscape
  • Communicate downtimes status to business and stakeholders
  • Support projects deployment, including non-regression testing, entry into service prerequisites, and knowledge base update

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 10-15 years of total experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience in project management, team organization, and leadership
  • Capacity to understand technical and operational Systems (SAP, Linux, monitoring ...)
  • Good knowledge of ITIL management (incidents, changes, problem solving, root cause analysis ...)
  • Manage escalation process in case of crisis situation
  • At least 3 years Experience in IT development, deliveries, and services
  • Experience in run operations and service-level agreements (SLAs) management
  • Good communication and collaborative skills and a team-minded attitude
  • Capacity to understand and learn functional Technical Data Configuration, Authoring, and Production applications
  • Advanced level of English

About the Role:

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this role is ₹45,00,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
