Job Overview

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Head of Systems to lead our System & Connectivity Retrofit department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of approximately 15-20 people with the right skills and competence to deliver solutions in the business of retrofit solutions for Airframe, Hydro-Mechanical systems, and Connectivity systems.

You will report operationally to the HO Retrofit Solutions-India (AISBMR) and functionally to the HO System Tech Domain, HO System Engineering, and HO Connectivity Tech Domain. The job holder will be responsible for close management of subcontractors as we maintain a certain level of subcontracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and managing a team of approximately 15-20 people with the right skills and competence to deliver solutions in the business of retrofit solutions for Airframe, Hydro-Mechanical systems, and Connectivity systems.
  • Closely collaborating with teams at Airbus Germany & Airbus France.
  • Managing subcontractors as we maintain a certain level of subcontracting.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in leadership or direct supervision within the aeronautics industry.
  • Accomplished operational leader with experience in building and managing a team.
  • Experience in System, Airframe (Engineering or Retrofit) related would be a plus.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is ₹25,00,000 - ₹40,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
