Workday Functional Transformation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for clients.

You will work with HR leaders and business stakeholders to understand their HR processes and transform them using Workday. Your focus will be on optimizing HR functionalities and ensuring seamless integration of Workday with other business systems.

• Workday HCM Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday HCM solutions, including modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, and Compensation.
• Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into Workday solutions, and ensure they align with industry best practices.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure Workday HCM solutions based on client requirements, ensuring the solution is scalable, efficient, and meets the needs of the business.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality and data accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as required.
• Client Interaction & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing functional support, guiding them through system functionalities, and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train client teams on Workday HCM processes and functionalities. Provide knowledge transfer to junior consultants and client teams to ensure smooth system adoption post-Go Live.
• Workday Reporting & Analytics: Leverage Workday reporting tools to build custom reports and dashboards that provide insights into HR data and support decision-making processes for clients.
• Process Improvement & Best Practices: Evaluate and optimize current HR processes and identify opportunities to leverage Workday functionalities to improve HR operations. Ensure alignment with global HR best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation of configurations, design decisions, and testing outcomes. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

• Workday Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of Workday HCM modules and functionalities, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Compensation. Experience in configuring Workday solutions to meet business requirements.
• Client Engagement & Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and provide clear guidance on Workday solutions. Experience in managing client expectations and leading client-facing interactions.
• Business Process Understanding: Strong knowledge of HR business processes and the ability to map these processes to Workday functionalities to optimize HR operations.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience with test planning, execution, and issue resolution in a Workday environment. Ability to ensure system accuracy and functionality through comprehensive testing.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues, resolve configuration errors, and address client concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a cross-functional team, collaborating with other Workday consultants, developers, and business analysts.
• Project Management: Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively to ensure successful project completion.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications: Workday HCM certification (or other Workday certifications) is highly desirable.
