Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional with expertise in regional cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional cooking methods, be able to prepare authentic dishes using local ingredients, and support the culinary team in delivering refined dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and Present High-Quality Dishes: With an emphasis on Himalayan-inspired cuisines and incorporating local flavors
  2. Contribute to Menu Development: Utilizing local ingredients and techniques to create unique dishes
  3. Maintain Consistency: In taste, presentation, and hygiene across all dishes
  4. Train and Mentor Junior Team Members: And Commis chefs to enhance their skills and knowledge
  5. Work Closely with the Sous Chef: To maintain efficient kitchen operations and achieve high-quality results
  6. Maintain Inventory: Monitor food wastage and support procurement processes to optimize efficiency
  7. Participate in Guest Interactions: Live cooking sessions and regional food promotions to showcase culinary expertise

Candidate Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of professional kitchen experience in quality hotels or resorts
  2. Strong expertise in Indian, Chinese, and regional cuisines, with knowledge of traditional cooking methods
  3. Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and attention to detail
  4. Ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment and contribute to growth opportunities
