Job Title: IT Incident Management Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Incident Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mitigating the impact of unexpected incidents on our IT services, operations, and technological infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement major incident management programmes to ensure effective response and resolution of disruptions.
- Execute responses to reported incidents from various channels, prioritized by potential impact to our IT systems, and provide regular status updates to affected stakeholders.
- Analyze logs, system data, and user reports to identify root causes of incidents and determine necessary courses of action to resolve or escalate incidents.
- Conduct regular tests and simulations to test response procedures in the event of an incident.
- Document and analyze past incident details, steps to resolution, and lessons learned to support identification of recurring issues and implementation of preventive measures.
- Strong experience in handling Major Incidents with ability to drive complex calls.
- Excellent Documentation and Business Communication skills.
- Business and Technology stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of Problem and Change Management concepts.
- ITIL Service Management framework knowledge.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
