Backend Software Engineer - Scalable Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js frameworks.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance system functionality.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy applications in hybrid cloud environments ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness to front-end requests by implementing efficient algorithms and data structures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain high system availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development, preferably with expertise in Spring Boot framework.
  • Strong team management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate team members towards achieving shared goals.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages, as well as proficiency in database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with remote teams and adapting to changing project requirements.
