Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).

About the Role:

  • This position involves identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including request for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supply contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of global regulatory requirements for API sourcing.
