Agriculture Sales Specialist

Our organization seeks an accomplished Agriculture Sales Specialist with exceptional Marathi language skills to expand our agricultural technology offerings.

This role is ideal for a candidate with prior experience in the fertilizer industry who can leverage their knowledge of agriculture and sales to promote advanced technology solutions.

The focus will be on assisting farmers and agricultural businesses across Maharashtra improve yield, productivity, and sustainability through modern technology.

  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Actively promote and sell agricultural technology products and services.
  • Relationship Management: Utilize industry knowledge from the fertilizer sector to develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses.
  • Education & Training: Educate customers on the benefits and proper use of agricultural technology products.
  • Market Research: Gather insights on the agricultural landscape in Maharashtra, with a focus on understanding fertilizer and technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales targets, market trends, and feedback from the field.
  • Conduct regular field visits to connect with customers and gather direct feedback on products and potential areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the fertilizer industry or agricultural technology.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Marathi is essential for effective communication with customers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with agricultural technology, crop management solutions, farm equipment, and fertilizers is highly desirable.
