Software Developer (Oracle Retail)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Oracle Retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test and deploy software applications using Oracle Retail technology stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical solutions and implement software changes.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software development and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in software development, preferably with Oracle Retail technology stack.
  • Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting and ProC.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail applications, including RMS v14/v16.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
