Technical Support Engineer

This is a challenging role for an experienced technical professional who can effectively handle customer issues and drive them to resolution. Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to communicate complex technical information clearly, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Being a technical expert in product upgrades and hotfix lifecycles is vital.
  • Effective troubleshooting and logical reasoning are essential skills.
  • Ability to handle escalated situations efficiently is critical.
  • Scale as an individual contributor quickly requires flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a team player mentality are necessary.
  • Knowledge base maintenance and contribution by creating documents for new issues faced is beneficial.
  • Striving for automation either by coding or by leading and influencing developers to build systems that are easy to run in production is desirable.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Linux (various distributions) and Windows Server environments is required.
  • 3–4 years of experience in Networking, Security, and Certificate Management platforms is essential.
  • Strong background in managing, deploying, and applying hotfixes/patches for applications and web services is necessary.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management is beneficial.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) is desirable.
  • Practical knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automation and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Experience in Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and stakeholder interaction are essential.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, RHEL, AWS, or Azure are highly valued.
