**Job Title:** Data Center Control Specialist

At our data center facilities, we are shaping the future of the industry and making a positive impact on the world. As a Senior Control Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems.

  1. You will develop project scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and levels of effort to meet customer and stakeholder requests. You will manage project execution, ensuring successful completion within agreed-upon timelines and budget constraints.
  2. Your role will involve supporting commissioning activities in data centers, conducting engineering analysis and research, and ensuring designs and installations meet requirements. Additionally, you will assist in procurement-related activities, including requesting quotes/proposals, responding to inquiries, reviewing vendor proposals, and issuing purchase orders.
  3. You will work closely with IT teams to develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs.

To succeed in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience. You should have an excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems. A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software is essential. Experience with TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocols is also necessary. Strong project coordination skills, including managing multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigating challenging situations, are crucial.
