About this role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support a blind Data & Appliance Analyst working within a global Cloud + AI organisation.

This role is about enabling the client to do their work—bridging accessibility gaps in fast-paced, highly technical environments.

You'll work closely with the Analyst to provide visual interpretation, data summarization, and navigation assistance within platforms such as Azure Portals, Excel, and Visual Studio. The client uses JAWS and VoiceOver screen readers.

Key responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting, and making basic code changes; creating and managing spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis; utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and other Excel tools to streamline workflows; assisting in converting and formatting documents to meet accessibility standards; summarizing meetings, managing task follow-ups, and tracking progress in collaboration with team members.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Broad knowledge of coding principles
  • Understanding of how code is structured and ability to identify components like classes and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work with large data sets using intermediate Excel functions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clear, professional communication in English, both written and verbal
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Comfortable working in high-speed technical environments with urgency and frequent task-switching
  • Detail-orientated with strong multitasking and follow-up skills
