
Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions Professional

We are seeking a talented Strategy and M&A Consultant to join our consulting team. As a consultant, you will work closely with a global team of professionals and Fortune 100 clients to understand their vision and help them devise inorganic and growth strategies.
You will be exposed to working with global clients across various industries, including Automotive, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications, Industrials, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Private Equity.
Your key responsibilities will include synthesizing key takeaways by structuring ambiguous problems, consolidating information sources, analyzing complex qualitative and quantitative data, presenting interpretations to the project team, and providing recommendations to global clientele.
You will also devise corporate/business unit, M&A, and market entry strategies, conduct commercial due diligence, business wargaming, and screen M&A targets.
Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will be communicating with senior leadership and clients through firm building initiatives.
Requirements
- A keen interest in building a career in Strategy and M&A Consulting
- Excellent analytical & presentation skills (Fluent in PowerPoint and Excel)
- Ability to conduct thorough market research on S&P CapIQ, IBISWorld, Merger Markets, Bloomberg, and other platforms
- Ability to break down and solve ambiguous problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Enterprising and collaborative professional with ability to work with a team
- Exposure in International client's geographies (North America/Western Europe/Asia-Pacific & Japan) will be considered favourably
- Prior work experience of 1-2 years in strategy houses/ Big 4 / boutique consulting / corporate strategy / corporate development background is preferred
- Bachelor's degree from premier institutes globally or India
