Information Security Consultant Job Description:

We seek a skilled Information Security Consultant to provide expert advice and guidance on enterprise security solutions. This role involves delivering security assessments, penetration testing, and consulting services.

  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
  • Execute regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the organization's overall risk management framework
  • Analyze complex security data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

This is not a Security Operations Centre role, so only experienced testers can apply. Candidates with prior security penetration testing experience are preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in computer science or 3 years of experience in a related IT field
  • CEH, ECSA, Sec, Pentest certifications desired
  • Relevant security certifications like SANS GIAC CERT, incident response, forensics, intrusion detection, etc., an asset
