Lead Catastrophe Modelling Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Lead Catastrophe Modelling Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of catastrophe modelling analytics and advisory solutions from India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and embed a consistent, curiosity-driven mindset across the US CA catastrophe modelling team members.
  • Stakeholder Management - govern project deliveries, manage end client expectations through reporting and performance metrics, lead change initiatives with stakeholders, demand gathering and resource planning through stakeholder agreement.
  • Ensure a consistent engagement model between operations and onshore teams.
  • Identify best practices within existing teams and points for improvements.
Requirements:
  • 12-15 years of experience in managing mid to large-sized teams with significant experience in managing catastrophe modelling teams, especially in reinsurance portfolio analytics and placements.
  • Leading expertise on the operation of key vendor models (Moody's RMS, Verisk AIR, CoreLogic RQE) and their application for reinsurance clients' needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to own interactions with onshore leaders.
  • Proven track record of managing model adoption and change management process for re-insurers.
