We are seeking a talented and dynamic professional to join our Catastrophe Modelling team.

Job Description

This role is based in Mumbai/Gurgaon and involves working on hybrid schedule with at least two days per week in the office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing large/complex clients and understanding their requirements
  • Conducting checks and edits on client-supplied data, producing detailed exposure profiling, and running catastrophe analyses using RMS, AIR, and RQE models
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of the models and managing model uncertainties
  • Providing modelled loss outputs in various forms and interpreting results for colleagues, brokers, clients, reinsurers, and other parties
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 3+ years of experience in Catastrophe Modeling/Risk Management
  • Strong academic rigor with a degree in Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or related fields from a reputed institution
  • Strong knowledge of stochastic modeling, SQL, and geospatial mapping tools like ArcGIS
