Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Public Relations Communications Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR and communication strategies that enhance brand presence and reputation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies.
  • Manage print, digital, social, and website media to enhance brand presence.
  • Create and design engaging content using Canva and Photoshop.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
  • Manage and grow the company's presence on other social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with print media for coverage and advertisements.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Handle crisis communication
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in public relations and communication.

Education: Postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills: Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop, strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines, strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of media monitoring tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
