Workday Functional Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing work, leading small implementation projects, managing workload, and providing go-live assistance and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prioritize work for self and assist lead in all phases of delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead/Manage small implementation projects, manage workload for the team, and assist team in all phases of delivery lifecycle.
  • Develop complex configuration for clients and leads, manage data transformation, and perform EIB Data loads.
  • Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with leads for project delivery and coordinate with EM/PM and client for project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations.
  • Thorough knowledge of Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll configuration build.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new skills, multitask, and prioritize time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday module - Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll functional areas.
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and functional skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new skills, multitask, and prioritize time effectively.
