Job Description

We are seeking a talented Research and Development Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing natural personal care products using fresh ingredients, minimal processing, and no preservatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and formulate new natural personal care products such as skincare, haircare, and body care items that have a more food-like feel and texture.
  • Research and implement innovative eco-friendly ingredients and technologies.
  • Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
  • Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
  • Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshoot any formulation challenges, and optimize processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical science, cosmetic science, or Ayurveda.
  • Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products, preferably 100% natural products with a good understanding of natural preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.
  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
