Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Data Engineer. As a key member of the Data Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and supporting a cloud-based analytics platform for the business.

  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand high-value business problems that can be solved through data processing and analytical systems.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to help design, build, and support a new cloud-based analytics platform for the business.
  • You will be part of a core team responsible for data engineering, and your contributions will impact the overall success of the project.

Achieving Quick Progression of Projects from proof-of-concept to post-production stage is vital for this position.

Requirements and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Strong Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Terraform or ability to rapidly adopt them.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms like Snowflake.
  • Experience with data transformation tools such as Dbt.
  • A good understanding of CI/CD and experience with one of the CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.
  • A robust grasp of core data engineering topics including ETL vs ELT, structured and unstructured data, data quality, and data governance.
  • Ability to contribute to all aspects of a solution - design, infrastructure, development, testing, and maintenance.
