Cloud Transformation Specialist

Transformative impact awaits you as a seasoned Cloud Services Professional, responsible for delivering exceptional cloud-based services to clients. Proactively identifying and resolving complex cloud incidents and problems is at the heart of this critical engineering role.

The primary objective is to ensure seamless client experiences by maintaining zero missed service level agreements. This involves managing tickets of high complexity, conducting advanced tasks, and providing resolution to diverse complex problems.

This role demands considerable judgment, independent analysis, and analytical thinking within defined policies and practices. You will apply deep technical expertise to achieve client outcomes while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, test, and operate assigned infrastructure at client sites.
• Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts.
• Identify and log problems and errors prior to or when they occur with required detail.
• Analyze, assign, and escalate support calls.
• Investigate third-line support calls and identify root causes of incidents and problems.
• Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary.
• Provide onsite technical support to clients and deliver field engineering services.
• Conduct monthly reviews of incidents and service requests, analyze, and recommend quality improvements.
• Provide continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update all systems and/or portals as prescribed.
• Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization and automation.
• Manage and implement projects within technology domains, delivering effectively and promptly per client requirements and timelines.
• Implement and deliver Disaster Recovery functions and tests.
• Perform any other related task as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with relevant experience of 3+ years in GCP.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture.
• Deployment of cloud services using Terraform.
• Defining and configuring alert thresholds as directed by the Cloud CoE.
• Monitoring incident triggers and responding to relevant teams based on RCA.
• Report generation and data submission basis requirements raised by various teams.
• Implementation of cloud security controls as directed by Info-Sec team.
• Follow-up for audit and compliance point closure post implementation.
• Cloud process automation and standardization.
• Golden AMI creation and patching of golden images.
• Updating AMI access across accounts for latest image deployment.
• Detailed understanding of cloud (IaaS and PaaS) industry and associated technologies.
• Deep understanding of Service Management best practices frameworks such as ITIL.
• Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills and ability to manage complex and technical projects.
• Good communication skills and ability to develop relationships with customer external stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of network & security, data center architecture.
• Professional cloud certifications preferred.
