  • We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps professional to join our team. As a core member of the Data Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting a new cloud-based analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand high-value business problems that can be solved through data processing and analytical systems.
  • Design, build, and support a cloud-based analytics platform.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to all aspects of a solution - design, infrastructure, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Communicate and present ideas to colleagues across the tech team.
  • Understand business requirements and help refine them into development tasks and estimate complexity.
  • Work on projects from proof-of-concept to post-production stage.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Terraform or ability to rapidly adopt them.
  • Experience with analytics platforms like Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of data transformation tools like Dbt.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.
  • Robust understanding of core data engineering topics - ETL vs ELT, structured and unstructured data, data quality, and data governance.
