About the Job
  1. Lead the investment research practice, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring financial performance meets expectations.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through innovative products, services, or market entry strategies.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the delivery team to achieve quality and operational excellence.
  4. Collaborate with the business development team to win new clients and expand existing relationships.
  5. Establish best practices for employee engagement, training, and talent development.
  6. Contribute to marketing initiatives by writing thought leadership articles, representing the company in media outlets, and supporting external communications.
  7. Maintain strong client relationships and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork.

  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Highly driven, motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver results and achieve goals.
  • Excellent sales and business development skills, with a deep understanding of the investment research industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience in managing teams in investment research, with a strong background in finance, macroeconomics, and business drivers. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, but a master's degree or higher is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and financial analysis to buy-side and sell-side clients.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  1. 15+ years of experience in investment research, with a minimum of 7+ years in managing teams.
  2. Experience in KPO industry, handling Private Equity/Investment Banking/Asset Management/Brokerage clients.
  3. Relevant background in research within the BFSI industry is also considered.
  4. Strong knowledge of finance, macroeconomics, and business drivers, valuation methodologies, and investor pitch document preparation.
  5. Able to provide strategic insights and financial analysis to buy-side and sell-side clients.
