We are seeking a skilled Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of various investment products, including mutual funds, portfolio management services, and alternative investment funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze the performance of mutual funds, PMS, and AIF schemes across different strategies.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis, including alpha, beta, Sharpe ratio, and drawdowns.
  • Perform qualitative assessment of fund houses, investment philosophy, and risk management practices.
  • Monitor portfolio positioning, sector exposures, and liquidity profile.
Due Diligence & Manager Evaluation
  • Conduct due diligence meetings with fund managers and assess their track record and investment style.
  • Review compliance and governance risks of PMS/AIF platforms.
Market & Industry Tracking
  • Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes impacting MFs, PMS, and AIFs.
  • Track flows and innovation in product structures.
Reporting & Client Support
  • Prepare research reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
  • Support investment committee with recommendations and research insights.

The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of financial markets, asset classes, and risk analytics. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools is required.

Some additional responsibilities include:

• Analysis of market trends and competitor activity.

• Development of data-driven research models and frameworks.

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and strategy.

• Identification of opportunities to improve process efficiency and productivity.
