Job Title: Equity Research Analyst

Buyside Equity Research Role

We are partnering with a leading wealth management platform managing over USD 4 billion in assets under management, with exposure across PMS, offshore advisory, and broking.

The firm is expanding its investment research team in Mumbai and is hiring for three distinct Equity Research Analyst roles:

  • Banking & Financial Services Analyst
  • Pharma & Chemical Sector Analyst
  • Multi-Sector Analyst (Sector-Agnostic)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain coverage of listed companies within assigned sectors
  2. Build and update detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
  3. Track sector trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic drivers
  4. Generate differentiated, actionable investment ideas for buy-side portfolios
  5. Collaborate with CIO and portfolio managers on strategy and stock selection
  6. Prepare research reports and present insights to internal stakeholders and clients
  7. Participate in earnings calls, analyst meets, and management interactions

We are looking for individuals with strong equity research experience, sector expertise or flexibility, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of equity research experience (buy-side preferred; sell-side considered)
  • Sector expertise or flexibility depending on the mandate
  • Strong modeling, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
