Venture Innovation Specialist

We seek a motivated and analytical professional to support our investment team in Mumbai. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates early in their careers who are passionate about climate solutions, venture capital, and sustainable innovation.

The successful candidate will assist in sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting deal execution and portfolio management. This role requires strong analytical and financial modelling skills specific to early-stage investments.

• Investment Research Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through research and preliminary outreach.
• Due Diligence Assistance: Support the team in financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
• Investment Process Support: Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Portfolio Analysis: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
• Ecosystem Engagement: Help coordinate our presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
• 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
