Job OverviewA successful Event Coordinator & Business Development Specialist at GoKhana excels as a project manager with expertise in marketing and promotion techniques. We seek enthusiastic candidates who can leverage fresh ideas and exceptional organizational skills to drive events from concept to execution.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the operations department to gather essential event details, including date, venue, attendance, and service preferences.
- IDentify potential events and organizers to onboard onto the platform.
- Maintain direct relationships with clients, utilizing culinary expertise to craft tailored proposals that meet their unique requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors and agencies to emphasize innovation and quality while maintaining budgeted sales and profits.
- Plan and execute pop-up counters, coordinating all aspects, including venue selection, setup, staffing, inventory management, and logistics.
- Stay abreast of industry competitors and developments to inform strategic reporting to senior management.
- Draft contracts and proposals for vendors, addressing inquiries from Sales Managers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of pop-up and event execution.
- Develop and manage event budgets, aligning with company goals, and conduct regular forecasting to anticipate future needs.
- Foster long-term client relationships through successful event planning and execution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality.
- Culinary experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups, demonstrating a service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work according to business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
