Business Development Manager

This position is responsible for managing existing relationships with clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Cross-selling of various financial products to the Bank customers.
- Customer business development - Identify new sales leads and develop strategies to increase revenue growth.
- Relationship Management - Foster strong relationships with key clients and ensure their needs are met.
- Accurate completion of sales documentation.
- Candidates with experience in Life/Health/GI Insurance preferred- Strong knowledge of insurance products and services is essential.
- Customers acquisition through resource utilization of banks database, foot falls, generated prospects.
- Responsible for sales completion by facilitating completion of medical reports & ensuring prompt issue of policy document.
- Explore opportunities to develop new markets/ segments in line with company sales strategy from time to time.
- Support other Relationship Managers and the bank sales team where requested by the sales manager by coaching them in company knowledge, products, services & selling skills, accompanying them on client visits & modeling relevant behavior.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year sales experience in any of insurance channels.
- Insurance experience or BFSI is mandatory.
