Key Role: MIS Management

The primary objective of this role is to lead and manage the centralized management information system (MIS) function for land acquisition teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable reporting to support decision-making, performance tracking, and land regulatory compliance in ongoing/planned renewable energy projects across India.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive MIS framework covering all land acquisition activities across projects and states.
  • Collate data from ground teams and project sites into centralized dashboards.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for senior management, highlighting progress, delays, risks, and opportunities.

Ensure high accuracy, completeness, and consistency of land-related data. Maintain historical records of land deals, ownership documentation, clearances, and legal status. Enforce data entry protocols and quality checks across regional teams.

Track key performance indicators such as land parcels acquired, legal clearances obtained, lead time, and state-wise progress. Identify bottlenecks in the acquisition process and escalate them for corrective action. Support target-setting and benchmarking for zonal land acquisition teams.

Coordinate with regional land teams, legal, finance, and project execution teams for data updates. Support internal and external audits with timely data access and reporting. Collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements and integration.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate in Engineering, Commerce or Data Science; MBA preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in MIS or project control roles, preferably in renewable or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition processes and regulatory frameworks is desirable.

This role requires advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools skills. Analytical and detail-oriented mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with GIS tools and land databases is an advantage.
