System Administrator Position

MGT-Commerce is a company that specializes in managed cloud hosting services for Magento e-commerce shops on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS). As an AWS Advanced Technology Partner, MGT-Commerce offers expert support to clients worldwide, delivering optimized performance and security for Magento stores through their tailored technology stack and solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with expertise in Linux and AWS to ensure the smooth operation and security of our clients' systems hosted on our managed hosting platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux-based servers hosted on our managed hosting platform.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability for our clients' systems.
  • Configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to support our managed hosting services.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hosting requirements and provide technical support and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator in a managed hosting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with web hosting control panels is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with clients and team members.
