Job Description
  • Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in the shopfloor as per production plan.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production with the help of materials handling equipment such as RGV, AGV, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, Conveyors, etc.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting/de-palletizing, palletising/packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, variance analysis, etc.
  • Moving various scrap (Haz and non-Haz) to defined areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, SCM, etc. to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Ensure required entries and passed documents are maintained as per Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Adhere to standards.
  • Maintain and issue PPEs and consumables.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the right materials are delivered to production at the right time and in the right place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to non-availability of materials.
