Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing risk models for unsecured personal loans, including scorecards and early warning systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making and creating MIS reports.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate risk models into workflows and contribute to underwriting automation workflows and process improvements. Strong knowledge of unsecured personal loans and lending processes is essential for this role.

  • Develop Risk Models: Create data-driven solutions to evaluate creditworthiness and predict loan defaults.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of risk models into existing workflows.
  • Analyze Data: Use advanced analytics techniques to identify trends and patterns in customer data.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience: As a Data Scientist or Risk Analyst in NBFC or lending space.
  • Strong technical skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Excel for data analysis and modeling.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with RBI norms, compliance standards, and digital lending practices.
  • Critical thinking: Able to work effectively with limited data or proxy indicators.
