At Caterpillar, we're not just building machines – we're building a better world. As a sales liaison, you'll play a crucial role in connecting our customers with the solutions they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, customers, and other Caterpillar personnel.
  • Provide guidance on existing and potential customer service issues and improvement measures within one industry.
  • Assist dealers on forecast, sales/rental/used strategy planning and sales techniques.
  • Support the rollout of new products and analyze marketplace and competitive activity to communicate to Caterpillar personnel and dealers.
  • Analyze product application, configuration, and utilization to provide the best solution for customers.
  • Create and promote programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization.
  • Develop required proficiency level in specified foundation competencies and skills.

Requirements

  • A college or university degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 to 8 years prior experience in field assignments and demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others.
  • Industry knowledge and sales and market understanding.
