Job Description:

  • As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise.
  • You will assist in resolving complex technical drafting issues and work to ensure that the drafting component of the project is completed within budget and deadline.
  • Mentor other members of the drafting team in their development and provide technical advice to project team members.
  • Assist in developing team members to their full potential and promote a culture of awareness within the team regarding relevant Health and Safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
  • 15+ years of experience in power transmission and distribution projects (Substations Plant).
  • Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and knowledge of power distribution, grounding, and lighting.
  • Previous experience in UK projects is a plus, along with familiarity with international codes, standards, and practices related to USA, UK, and Australia.
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment, specifically in the energy/ utilities sector, is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with good analytical and computer skills.
  • Able to deliver complex projects under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills.
