Job Description">

As a skilled engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering chiller plant rooms. Your primary goal will be to create efficient and effective systems that meet the needs of our clients.

You will work closely with our team to prepare detailed designs and specifications for chiller plant rooms. This will include creating 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and RIVET software.

Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technical data sheets for equipment and interacting with vendors to resolve any queries or issues.

Your expertise in HVAC heat load calculations and estimation techniques will be crucial in ensuring that our designs meet the required standards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from greenfield developments to retrofit works. You will be expected to collaborate with our sales and delivery teams to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chiller plant room design in RIVET and AutoCAD
  • Overall 8 to 12 years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • Experience in design pipe concepts and estimation techniques for chiller plant management, including cabling and accessories
  • Preparation of HVAC heat load using HAP and manual methods
  • Knowledge of major equipment like chillers, pumps, VFDs, cooling towers, and the interpretation of their technical data sheets to prepare detailed drawings
  • Knowledge of different pumping systems design and comparison
  • Knowledge of HVAC engineering practices, preparation of TDS, getting approvals, compliances, BOQ estimations and costing, optimizations, and low side design and engineering practices
  • Understanding and experience of electrical distribution, design, and estimation
  • Ability to design plant rooms independently
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Good team player
  • Ability to travel locally if needed
