Job Title: MEP & HVAC Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled MEP & HVAC Design Engineer with expertise in Chiller Plants (air-cooled/water-cooled) and VRV/VRF systems to join our team.

This role is ideal for engineers who have hands-on experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, hospital, and high-rise building projects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Performing heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  2. Designing and selecting chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
  3. Preparing HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit.
  4. Developing BOQ, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
  5. Managing documentation, submittals, and approvals with clients and consultants.
  6. Coordinating with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.
  7. Reviewing vendor proposals and conducting technical evaluations.
  8. Supporting in value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimization.
  9. Providing technical support during installation, testing & commissioning stages.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design (Chillers, VRV/VRF, Air Distribution, Hydronic Systems).
  • Familiarity with MEP coordination and integration.
  • Proficiency in HAP / TRACE, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Carrier E20-II, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer or equivalent software.
  • Knowledge of standards/codes: ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS, ASME.
  • Good communication, documentation, and client handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
