Human Resources Generalist Role

About the Position

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for creating a positive employee relations experience through various functions in support of operational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to manage internal inquiries, assist with performance management processes, engage with operations teams, and work on employee requests for leaves and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage internal inquiries with internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Assist operations with performance management process and discussions
  • Engage with operations by participating in meetings to support goals and objectives
  • Work with employees on requests for various leaves including medical and family leaves, as well as accommodation requests
  • Engage with Operations on all Employee Relations issues and concerns
  • Policy administration
  • Conduct investigations on concerns submitted from employees
  • Conduct special projects and other HR duties as assigned
  • General office management and administration
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Secondary education in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience in a large organization or supervisory level experience in small organization
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining relationships with diverse groups
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Good listening, patience, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to self-manage daily duties and time in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to organize and follow-up multiple tasks/details with accuracy and timeliness
  • Service oriented with focus on client needs
  • Innovation spirit and ability to think outside the box
