Job Description

As a senior software test engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate product functionality, performance, and security.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to understand product requirements, identify potential risks, and develop effective testing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of product features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify and report defects, provide clear and concise reproduction steps, and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in automation testing.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
