Job Title: Laboratory Operations Manager

The Laboratory Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Conduct routine testing of soil, water, and product biodegradation studies in marine, soil, compost, and anaerobic environments.
  • Manage laboratory operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate analysis and address technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate lab assignments and schedules for analysts and technicians.
  • Receive, compile, and verify data from lab testing, documenting and maintaining accurate records.
  • Analyze quality control sample results to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes and equipment.
  • Train laboratory analysts and maintain knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Control lab equipment and supply inventory, coordinating replacements or repairs as needed.
  • Provide backup support to the Laboratory Manager during their absence.
  • Implement corrective actions and follow up on Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
Requirements:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the service industry, preferably in laboratory operations or management.
