Infrastructure Efficiency Specialist Job Description

The role of an Infrastructure Efficiency Specialist is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our infrastructure, encompassing network electronics and fibre networks. This position involves maintaining accurate asset records, monitoring vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and implementing energy optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update comprehensive asset registers.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against predefined SLA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure adherence to established quality management standards and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Oversee Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities for inside plant electronics, guaranteeing seamless network uptime.
  • Collaborate with outsourced infrastructure maintenance teams, providing leadership and strategic guidance.
  • Closely coordinate with Network Operations Center for effective network management.
  • Implement measures to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs.
  • Engage with the infrastructure maintenance core team to ensure continuous network performance improvement and upgradation.
