Head Butcher - Lead Meat Preparation Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Butcher to join our team as a key member of the culinary department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meat dishes.

Job Description

The Head Butcher is a senior position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of the culinary team, the Head Butcher will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of butchers in the preparation and presentation of meat dishes;
  • Developing and implementing new recipes and menu items;
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene;
  • Controlling inventory and managing supplies;
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment. A culinary school degree is also required.
