Collaboration Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collaboration Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

This role involves automating business processes, participating in technical design of platforms, and managing ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications.

Key responsibilities include overseeing administration and integration of collaboration platforms, working with internal and external partners to establish strong relationships with users, and ensuring efficient, secure, and practical solutions that deliver engaging productivity experiences.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technology support experience
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft suite administration and collaboration security frameworks including Exchange Online and Teams
  • Experience using various technologies such as PowerShell, PowerBI, APIs, WebServices, Python, C++, JavaScript, and Power Platform
  • Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere and exhibit optimism in challenging situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to decompose complex problems into manageable components

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability
  • Ensure system security and implement standards, responding to failures or performance issues
  • Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management
  • Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects
