About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to design, build, and maintain our modern data platform. This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in ETL pipeline design, data modeling, and data infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work across the full data stack—from ingestion and transformation to orchestration and delivery—playing a key role in scaling analytics and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines and data flows
  • Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow
  • Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark
  • Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake)
  • Architect and maintain schemas using methodologies
  • Design and support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions
  • Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms
  • Maintain DevOps standards using CI/CD and containerization tools like Docker and Ansible

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL design
  • Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark
  • Deep understanding of data modeling techniques
  • Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for performance
  • Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools
  • Solid experience in data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and containerization
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms
