We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive / Director to lead our sales initiatives targeting the food industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing deals in the food industry.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to target the food industry and drive revenue growth for our food testing business.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through existing clientele, cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food industry.
  • Preparing and delivering tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and continuous professional development opportunities to the sales team.
  • Evaluating and deciding on new business opportunities and sales tactics by assessing market trends and competitor activities.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in business, marketing, science, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 18 years of sales experience in ISO 17025 accredited labs with a strong focus on hunting and business development for food testing services in the food industry.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in computer skills, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strong existing network of contacts within the food industry.
